Recently my husband and I made the decision to sell our first home in order to finance building a bigger home to raise our young family. We had spent a lot of time, energy and money on this house in the six years we owned it but both agreed it was time to move on.

We had never sold a house before so we engaged several reputable agents around the Ipswich area one of which being Housequest's Tank Lee. From the onset Tank's professionalism was second to none and we were very impressed with the level of communication we received throughout the whole process. The fact that was also were able to sell our house for considerably more than other agents suggested has enabled us a few little extra luxuries in our house build and we couldn't be happier with that!

Both my husband and I were very happy with using Housequest for the sale of our property and will not hesitate in contacting Tank and the team in future and we are also recommending them to our friends and family!

Recently, I placed a house in Flinders View for sale. At my first attempt, I used a Real Estate Agent who shall remain nameless. They recommended a sale price that turned out to be obviously unrealistically high. After about 2 months of no buyer interest, I left the house vacant based on that Real Estate Agent’s recommendation (with resultant rental loss) that it would then be easier to sell if vacant and dropped the price by $12000 (as I later found out this also resulted in a tax loss because the house was vacant). Once again, no buyer interest resulted. I was given all sorts of excuses why buyers weren’t interested. I was also charged approximately $1700 for advertising by this agent and would have been up for a further $9000 in Real Estate Agent fees if the house was sold. After 3 months I removed the house from sale.
A few months later, I once again placed the home for sale. This time I used Tank from Housequest as my selling Agent. The difference was like between “chalk and cheese”. Tank recommended a realistic selling price and within a few weeks the house was sold. Not only was I not charged extra for advertising but Tank’s commission on sale was less than $6000. Tank constantly kept in touch during the whole of this selling period. The difference between Tank’s approach and the previous Real Estate Agent was the difference between a professional and an amateur. I am still amazed at the difference a professional Real Estate Agent can make when selling a house. I have no hesitation in recommending Tank from Housequest to anyone considering placing their home for sale in the Ipswich area.
